EULAPS represents a new school of psychoanalysis applied to psychosomatics. It gives training to professionals who assist people suffering from somatic diseases. It was crested with the aim of:

Promoting exchanges among professionals from different medical specialties and psychoanalysts, psychiatrists and psychotherapists.
Developing international joint meetings and publications sharing the scientific contribution of authors and institutions devoted to the subject.
